23rd Annual Taste of Marco

Don’t miss this one! “Warm-up” for the big Taste of Collier event coming up at the end of the month with the 23rd Annual Taste of Marco and it’s right around the calendar corner.

This Sunday, April 7, Marco Island residents and visitors, including those vacationing in the privileged rental homes and condos offered by Marco Escapes, will head for the Esplanade on N. Collier Blvd. to taste dishes from these great Marco Island dining spots:

• CJ’s on the Bay
• Stonewalls
• Kretch’s
• BeachDogs
• Quinns on the Beach
• Hilton-Marco Island
• Mango’s Dockside Bistro
• Crazy Flamingo
• Vandy’s 5 Brothers
• Starbucks
• Coldstone Creamery
• Simply Cupcakes

Plus, there’ll be live entertainment by the Greg Miller Band, a bounce house and slide for kids. Hours are 11 am to 5 pm. Be sure to get there early to watch the Waiter & Waitress Race, always a lot of fun.

Parking is free. Boat slips are available. Admission is $5, with food, drink and game tickets on sale for $1 each.

It’s not only a great time to sample Marco Island cuisine but also a way to support the YMCA, which receives the proceeds.
