Outback Steakhouse?

Here’s some “prime” news for Marco Escapes families…or at least we hope it is!

According to rumor, Outback Restaurant’s parent corporation, Bloomin’ Brands, Inc., is considering opening an Outback Steakhouse near Lely Resort, an area well-known by residents and visitors to Marco Island. The rumor has been fueled by evidence that the land, near Collier Boulevard and US 41, is being cleared and County records show Outback has applied for permits at Triangle Plaza at Lely Resort. The rumored location is near another popular family restaurant in the chain, Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
